This is the most important industry meeting, which traditionally takes place twice a year – in spring and autumn - in the capital of national ceramics, Foshan, since 2002, hundreds of centuries have been working with this material in Guangdong Province. Today, more than half of all ceramic tiles in China are produced here, which is about a quarter of global production.
Cerambath takes its place of honor in the calendar of world design events. The scale of the exhibition is evidenced by the fact that it takes place at three exhibition sites: the China Ceramics City Trade and exhibition complex, the Headquarters of the Chinese Ceramic Industry (China Ceramic Industry Headquarters) and the Foshan International Expocenter (Foshan International Conference & Exhibition Center) were involved. The total area of the exhibition space was about 500 thousand square meters, where more than 800 Chinese and a number of foreign companies demonstrated their products.
The October CERAMBATH 2024 demonstrated the main trends in tile design, a wide range of sizes, from very small to large-format porcelain stoneware, street tiles of increased thickness and ultra-thin. Also among the current trends: textured tiles and aged surface effect, imitation of marble, wood, leather and metal.
